Does Riot plan to do something about this item?

, I have never seen this built and I don't see a reason to build it. Its not good to have when your team is behind or going even since there are other tank items that outcIass it. I imagine it could be used to make ganks under tower but it would require a big investment from the tank or the jungler since it would set them back from their core items. Any thoughts on this?

turret beams carry as much pain as being hit by candyfloss and turrets are made out of cardboard until these becomes addressed the item is as pointless as your post.

That item is really only useful in the early early game. And because of the price you wont be building that until well after your smite item. By then it will be mid game and everyone will be able to tower dive to some extent that it isn't worth it. So the only way I can see riot getting people to use that item is to buff its freeze by another second or cut its price in half.

If we're pushing it to a jungle item, maybe we can make it into a smite upgrade? Activate it by smiting a tower. Towers should first need to be stronger, but I think this could be interesting.

I'm not sure why they don't do something with it, but the reason that it still exists and hasn't been removed is because they named it after a summoner who got a whole bunch of friend recommendations (not sure that's the right word but whatever).

It won't ever be useful until turrets actually start hitting champs with laser blasts, and not wet noodles.
