Why does Leblanc's kit feel so disjointed now?

I mean, I guess I might have had a bad game, but it really just felt so terrible to play her. It just feels very disjointed to play, if for no other reasons than wait time combined with being a really squishy caster.

Passive: Wait 1.5 seconds after hitting target with spell. Next spell that hits them will now deal nuke damage. Expires at 4 seconds, giving you a 2.5 second frame hit the enemy if you haven't disengaged or been nuked. E: Wait a bit to deal the second half of the damage and snare. R: Hop in with W so you don't ulti your W on accident. (Unless that's your intention.) THEN scramble to properly sequence your spells. Don't forget to wait 1.5 seconds to cast again for bonus damage.

Mimic: Here's a not-a-clone that won't really fool anyone or make anyone react unless they've never faced Leblanc. Since it's part of Leblanc's core design; Here's a gutted and stapled-on version.

I'm sure she can be powerful given the numbers, but maybe this iteration shouldn't have been rushed out to live. I feel they could've done so much better with her.

If you try to play her like old Leblanc, she feels like shit. If you take her new kit at face value, it feels rather good. She's more of a kite-mage/skirmisher hybrid now instead of an assassin and should be played as such. Just hang around the edge of fights, throw out constant chains, and then blow up squishies who don't respect your zone.

This play style was possible even before the rework, but more situational. In my opinion it feels better
