I saw one Shen player build Trinity Force and BoTRK and thought it was a crazy and silly build but it worked rather well. I was thinking of trying this build out on Shen next time I play him because it seemed to work well, or would it be better to just build him as a tank like always?

Theedge6341 votesI ALWAYS build trinity on Shen... though the rest of the items are tank, sometimes I'll build a wits end.. if i need a bit more damage.. but trinity is good on him imo

Thund3r Ang3l1 votesIf We have already a tank, I can take Bork, Wits End, Trinity, even statikk shiv with sunfire if you want to be a splitpusher monster. But you should take 2-3 attack items maximum. The rest is pretty basic, Sunfire cape, spirit visage... thornmail ? Randuin? mercury tread or ninja tabi. it depends on the team composition...

Both are fine on Shen. I prefer to build a Wit's End and then straight tank items (ones that help me deal more damage like sunfire and thornmail especially) personally, but Triforce and BotRK are fine on him. He can proc the sheen on triforce fairly easily, it helps him chase, and gives him a bit more attack speed, while BotRK increases his dueling power. Both are good, and when combined give him quite a bit of damage.
