Considering how the community reacts recently @Riot...
...I think its about bloody time that you actually put some effort into listening, and actually admit that you REALLY messed up for the past months. Everyone knows that the game is going downhill, nobody can deny it, even those few "special" persons who posts about the game's popularity being "alright" and "being stable" ; there's pure raw data that clearly shows how the game's popularity decreases in an ever-increasing rate, from related google researches to number of streamers/watchers. The game is NOT going well and we should be done with this "it happens every year and yet the game still lives" bullsh!t that some people seems to believe.
If you want to put a stop to this madness, then you simply have to LISTEN to the community, and by this I mean you should actually care about every single opinions, instead of following your ideas and defending yourselves by hiding behind a minor part of the community who still supports you. I can't even think about a single particuliar problem about the game right now since there's just soooooooooooooooo many right now being discussed by the whoooollle community of players, from the ignored tower buffs that people have been asking for almost years now to the hypocretic ADC privileging that 80% of the players has grown to be sick of.
I'm not complaining because I'm butthurt about the current beta, no; I'm complaining because I loved the game and that it just looses a little part of itself every single months. Not because I'm growing tired of it, no, but because you guys just looks like you are voluntarely making it worse and worse without any single regards to the community. I am pretty sure that I'm not wrong if I assume that its the reason why most players are quitting/considering to quit.
And yet it just looks like you don't care... This situation could've been so easily avoided and its still avoidable if you put effort into it, and yet You don't care... Look, I want to have fun, that's why I play video games, that's why everyone plays videogames. Do you know how a company making bad video games is named? A bad company. You are not one of those. How a company willingly making its game worst is named? A laughable company. You are getting pretty near this state. How a gamer who's not having fun anymore is named? Someone who stops playing, also named "A player who won't cause any single revenue". And how do we call a company who's sole game's community is quickly turning into "players who won't cause any single revenue"?
