Too many times I have said "I really need some penetration." and gone to the shop to see my options and figure which was going to be best just to find out that, oh no! There's no category for that!
I would like to humbly request that Magic Pen and Armour Pen be search categories in the shop Riot. It would be very helpful. Plus, it would help new players out significantly.

...aaanyway, it would make a lot of sense to have tabs, or at least a convenient searchphrase, for something like armor reduction or somesuch - for items that either lower resistances in an area (abyssal), have Mpen directly (void staff, that other item that gives some health that I forget the name of), etc.
Even if no "armor reduction" tab and an associate magic one, making the terms "Mpen" and "Apen" searchable for a list of all relevant items that cause reduction to opposing stats, or perhaps simply a reduction tab of sorts (maybe that could be an addition too) would be quite useful and a good way to go about it.

It's missing Abyssal. Which is a flat reduction I guess, but still. And it's more work, and new players wouldn't think of something like that. I didn't think of it until just recently. Plus, you get both Armour and Magic pen items. You'd have to type in the entire thing if you wanted one specific category.

Puppy Cuddle1 votesI think the main problem is that armor/mr penetration is such a wide catagory it doesn't really make much sense to be a catagory of itself. You have percentile pen in LW and Void, you have flat pen in brutalizer (and upgrades) and sorc boots/haunting guise , you have reduction in abyssal and shred in BC, and that's all that there really is in the game (unless i derped and forgot one). Compare this to say items that "give attack damage" or "give lifesteal" and it just doesn't feel like such a cohesive catagory. and you can already search for pen items with 'armor pen' or 'magic pen' in the search bar of the shop :)

ChickenWrap1 votesWhich is fair, you play your champion a lot! I play many many champions, and really don't want to invest time in making a build page for all of them. Also, what about people who are learning champions or ones on free week and are learning what they should get as they go and get what they feel would help them?
ShadowNinetails1 votesPerhaps I worded that incorrectly. It's not that I make a page for every champ I play often, I make a page for every class of champs I play often. I have a page for AD Casters that covers 10 champs, one for my 4 core AD fighters that I can take top and jungle, one for AP-focused mages, another for Utility-focused mages that has a lot of overlap with my AP Support page which itself also has overlap with my Tank Support page, then there's my AP jungler and AP Tank jungler pages. Then there's the pages for those...different champs like 
. Those are the only pages that serve just one champ and you can look at my match history and see how often they get used XD.
