But that is just a silly legend. Everyone knows Akali never had a kit.

Na, she did have a kit. It just got removed midway through season 8 and got replaced by a ban slot.
Legend has it Akali used to actually have to use her whole kit.
Now she's closer to that than ever.
Nerfs were the right direction, and the upcoming ones will be even better. :)
Once they finally nerf her passive after all of this, they'll be able to buff her in other ways and make her viable without being cancer to play against.
