Can we do the same for Malphite? Or can we at least make it so the cooldown isn't reset by minion hits? Also why wasn't this done for Galio's W passive? Just curious. I'm not sure I can follow the distinction at this point since another champion can ignore the cost these other two champions have for a shield.

Because champs are different? Kits have different power put into different places. Having Malphite or Galio have there shields activate in combat, would be a case for pretty decent nerfs for the champions.
