So I am a mid main and I can say without a doubt that my team hates me because I (usually not always... more like 60% of the time) win my lane... but i stay in my lane and just take tower. I need advice on roaming and how I should roam.

Beanwater2 votesIt's good to roam if you can no longer press your advantage in your own lane, I.e. if they start to freeze by their tower or just insta wave clear every wave, but you can't dive them. Push the wave in and see if top or bottom can be ganked and ask where the wards are.
Roaming is pretty hard and can be punished easily too so it's difficult to get good roams every time. Sometimes they won't pay off and your laner will catch up a bit or pressure your tower, but to me its worth the shot at snowballing yourself further and helping another lane.
I sometimes like to pink the dragon brush in river maybe 30 seconds before a roam and then go sit in it and see if my enemy laner will follow, then jump on him if he does.

But I think you should start off with jungle and learning the right timed ganks. Second of all I usually roam after I take out the closest tower but also staying near my lane in case they try to steal my tower when I'm not there. I generally use Quinn 
top and once I get her ultimate (more speed+rain of arrows when disengaging) I start to randomly gank other lanes/go in for the kill when I can.

Elisza Kitsune1 votesWhen: Usually when you're fed or have taken out at least on of their towers(at least that's what I do) How: Either to help your jungler if they're being attacked by another jungler or to losing lanes(also helps prevent flaming) but in laning phase, try not to stray too much from your lane. After the enemy midlaner dies and their tower is destroyed is probably the best time to roam in the laning phase ~Best of luck
