Earhing Champion Mastery points should be ELO based

I would like to suggest a way to rework Mastery System to better define player's skill level with champions they play. The basic idea is to gain more mastery points the higher your elo is.

Champion Mastery points = GRADE x ELO (also maybe perhaps whether you win or lose should also affect your mastery)

S = 100 points A = 90 points B = 80 points and so on

Ranked Multiplier 1 - Iron 2 - Bronze 3 - Silver 4 - Gold 5 - Platinum 6 - Diamond 7 - Master 8 - Grand Master 9 - Challenger

scoring S in Silver you earn 100 x 3 = 300 Mastery Points scoring S in Challenger you earn 100 x 9 = 900 Mastery Points

Champion Mastery should be something honorable that gives better recognition to the players that shows their true skill level with the champions that are play and not something that is abused for negative purpose. Such system will better define skill level because someone that scores S in Challenger is way better than someone that scores S in Silver, Gold or even Plat. This will also encourage people to improve much further since when they are higher tier they will get more mastery points therefor reaching higher champion mastery levels will become much easier. 2 million mastery points on a champion means nothing if you are a Silver player for very long period of time so higher tiers are most likely to achieve heights that much easier.

Maybe we should also reset the Mastery Scores on all champions in order to show the champions true mastery level

  1. Someone who plays normals only at a high elo would be proving mastery more than a silver playing ranked. What benefit do they get?

  2. Wouldn't this encourage taking unplayed champions into high ranked games to level up their mastery faster?
