amazing balance team

the 1 kill rammus is the most effective champion on either team in mid game fights.

its amazing how this game is 100% about the champions you play and not how well you play.

you cant really shut down a player harder than that.

let me repeat that. a 1 kill rammus most effective player in a team fight.

yet here i am as a fed shaco and i cant assassanate an adc when they have 50% health.

im sorry your balance team is utter trash.

I guess you tried to assassinate the adc when rammus was next to him and got taunted?

um no. have you played shaco recently? I was fed last game. the enemy adc had 50% health. shaco is awful against any champion with any tankiness. I hit him to 20% health.

where as the rammus couldn't have been less fed in the mid game and was the most effective champion in the game.

and if you dont understand how that is imbalanced i dont kinow what to tell you.

You don't really know how this game works, do you? First off, how many kills he had isn't important. Minion kills matter a lot more. They're your main source of income. How many did he have? How many were jungle camps, which give more money than the lane creeps? What items did he have? You can't just look at kills and expect that to be a valid assumption of how much gold he has or how "shut down" he is. Also a good question is how late into the game was it? Rammus in particular is effective against you because he's tanky. You said it yourself in the comments. If you think kills are the only source of income in the entire game and him having 1 kill while you being fed means that you should automatically be stronger than someone who counters the shit out of you and probably had 2-3x your CS (and therefore, MORE gold than you), then I'm surprised you got to silver 3. Seriously dude, just stop with the Shaco 1-trick and actually learn the game. I think you'd be glad you did. Learn other champions, learn other roles! First off, we're in a tank meta. If Rammus is so op, play him! This game is all about knowledge; the more knowledge you have, the easier you can predict your opponents, the better you'll play.

I know that this is advice you don't want to hear, but this is coming from an 8 year veteran of this game. I may not be very highly ranked, but I also don't play ranked very often (been playing it more recently to try to get to gold, climbed from bronze 1 to silver 1 in just a few days). Please, don't just disregard what I'm saying to you completely. Take my advice. If you do it in Ranked, I can guarantee you will drop in rating at first. But after a while of learning everyone you can, you'll go up in rating beyond what you can reach now. And you'll do it a lot faster.

I play low-mechanically-intensive junglers. Why? Because I'm the opposite of you. I know the exact kits of every champion in the game, what every item does, and how to react to different situations and control the map almost perfectly. However, my mechanics are below average, and sometimes I get too cocky or greedy when it comes to kills that seem easy. If I got past that snag, though, I could probably reach challenger off game knowledge alone. And I always suggest people learn the jungle on someone like Warwick or Nunu, because they're forced to learn the macro game and how to play the map that way, which is often what holds back diamond 1 players from reaching master/challenger (at least according to a certain fat Asian YouTuber/Streamer named PantsAreDragon, who is in challenger, in this video )

its funny how you dodge the issue and go right to the i dont know how to play the game. If you kill minions it gives you gold. different jungle camps give you different exp. when you go on a killing spree you also give shut down gold. when you die a lot you are worth less gold.

Theres a reason why i get fed every game. There is a reason why i have more cs than my opponent junglers while having a much higher kill participation than my opponent junglers.

Do you know if rammus has 50% or more health after he gets his first item i can never kill him regardless of how fed i am?

I watched the game that rammus in the early/mid game team fights had more gold than only the supports.

Ill say it again that rammus was shut down completely yet he was the most effective champion in team fights. I was fed as shaco and couldnt assassanate and adc with 50% health. That is imbalance in itself.

There is a reason why there are no shaco challenger or master tier mains. Pinkward one of the most knowledgable players is stuck in diamond. its because shaco doesn't do what he is suppose to do.

I didn't dodge around the issue. I asked questions relating to how much gold and how many items he had. Not my fault you're bad.

Also, if you know Shaco isn't in the best spot right now because of the tank meta, why would you 1-trick him? You're intentionally putting yourself at a disadvantage before the game even starts. I'll say it again, if Rammus is so op, play him! Just a couple of games! I'm sure you'll do much better than you usually do on Shaco. It's a tank meta. Picking a jungler that naturally gets countered by every tank in the game puts you at a huge disadvantage before the game even begins.

Why was Rammus so effective, despite having so little gold? Because his W essentially doubles his armor and magic resistance (I think the actual number is a 70% increase rank 5) and causes the armor-based on-hit damage from his passive to deal 150% of its damage to anyone who attacks him. The armor boost from his W also increases the damage from his passive and the return damage, though it doesn't increase damage from Thornmail. The drawback is that his movement speed gets cut so hard it's easy to just run away from him and not care, even when he's running slow resistance masteries and Swifties. And his taunt is only 2 seconds. I can't tell you how many times I've executed the Rammus combo perfectly on the enemy ADC, bump into them with Q, taunt them, pop W and ult, only to have them run away from me after the E wears off and I now have to cancel my W, and cut most of my damage, to keep up with them. Then, as soon as my W is down, they turn back and keep attacking me, and even full armor with Thornmail, they'll kill me eventually if I just let them hit me. So now I have to wait for my Q to come back up and then use it to run away. If my teammates aren't around, I'm completely useless against anyone who isn't melee. And it's not hard to deal with a Rammus if you know what he does and how to stop him from doing it. Even still, melee champions will struggle. Warwick is a good counter, though. Your Q and passive cause you to heal so much, he can't 1v1 you until after he gets his Bramble Vest, which, if you're good at Warwick, you'll be fed enough by that point that even the Grievous Wounds from that won't matter. You just keep hitting him with your autos and % max health magic damage Q and he won't be able to do anything to you. And unless he builds magic resistance, about 1/2 your damage doesn't care about his items (and yes, I have looked in the post-game at how much physical vs magic damage I've dealt on Warwick. Sometimes it's dead even, sometimes it's more magic than physical. If I have an Ornn on my team, I actually buy the upgraded Abyssal Mask because I don't like building Tri Force on him, not tanky enough, and Mask actually increases damage on my passive, Q, and ult by 15% because they're all melee range and magic damage.

Instead of blaming the balance team, you learn how to counter it. Look at your own play. How could I have played this better? What could I have done to increase my chances of winning? Accept that you're not a perfect player; nobody is. In this game, strategies are constantly changing, and you have to adapt with the changes if you want to stay competitive. How good of a player you are depends on how you react to a constantly changing game balance and constantly changing scenarios in each game. How do you recover from a bad start? How do you deal with Rammus in the late game?

And you still never answered my question as to what items he had. It sounds like this was pretty late on, so if he was full build or close to it, yeah, it's understandable why you would have lost this fight. Shaco is an early game champion. You take the lead and use it to dominate your opponents, crushing them before they can reach their late game. If you don't know how to end a game as early as possible, you shouldn't play Shaco. Did you take Rift Herald in this game? Baron? Dragons? Your strength is directly dependent on how many items the enemy team has. If they get too many, you can't do anything, even when you were ahead of them for the rest of the game. It's the late-game meta we're in. Tanks, hypercarries, and Ardent Censor supports to keep them all alive. Adapt to the game. Play smarter, not harder.

Get a few early kills on yourself and your allies as early as possible; if this game goes late, that Twitch is gonna be a huge lifesaver and probably gonna win you the game. Take dragon as early as you can; its teamwide permanent buffs are amazing to help you win the game, and the more you have, the easier it'll be for you to end this early. Rift Herald as soon as you can, as well. If you can take it and immediately drop it into a lane that's already pushing towards the enemy team, do. You'll probably get at least 1 tower, maybe even 2, especially if the laner for that lane is dead and the enemy jungler doesn't come. Did they just show bot lane? Perfect. Now's the time. Gank top, get a kill, immediately Rift Herald afterwards. I know their Teleport is down from earlier, when I saw them use it to gank bot lane. Drop Herald in top lane and shove it as hard as you can with your top laner. 1 tower down... We beat them for first blood. They got a double kill in bot, but we're getting so much more in top lane that it's worth. The enemy jungler left after killing the bot lane, so the good news is that they won't get the turret. The bad news is that, with him out of vision, we now have to worry about him rotating to stop us. But we can get at least 1 more tower before he shows up. Enemy top is sitting at the Inner Turret, alongside their mid. But your top laner is a lot tankier than them, and you know you have the damage to kill if he tanks. You ping to go on the mid laner; she's squishier and a bigger threat. Your top laner executes a good combo on them, drawing turret aggro and CCing them for a long time, which you chain into your box. With her being almost instantly deleted, you swap targets to the enemy top laner. He's going for yours; he sees the turret shooting him, and thinks that he can get the kill. Your top leaves the turret, but still falls. Enemy top is too low to continue fighting, but has blown too many cooldowns to be able to escape. You finisht them off with ease before killing the turret and Deceiving away before the enemy jungler shows up. That went almost too perfectly.

You may say that that's a rare thing to happen, but I see it happen all the time. A good jungler doing a good job to end the game before the enemy team has time to catch up.

I main Warwick. I take the dragon level 3, every game. It gives my team a good early lead. And, at that point, unless someone on the team feeds their ass off too hard, we should be set up for me to carry by ganking. Put my team ahead, win the game early. If it does go late, I build Titanic as my only non-full-tank item, so I'm pretty tough to kill combined with my healing. Red smite Cinderhulk, Titanic Hydra, full tank. Usually something to increase my movement speed, since it also buffs my ult range. And I still do a fair amount of damage while being difficult to kill. I max W to rank 3 first before maxing my other 2 abilities. The % max health scaling on the Q going up also increases the healing, and the E damage reduction is great for mid-late game teamfights. I'm chasing people down a lot less in this stage of the game, too, so the extra movement speed and attack speed from W I picked up early will suffice.

you are literally talking to me as if i've never played the game before. Rammus had cinderhulk cloth armor and boots when he started dominating the game. He had the least amount of gold aside from the supports when he started dominating the game.

The rammus got off to a horrendous start and was able to do his job more effectively than me as a shaco who got off to an amazing start. If you don't think that is a balance issue I don't know what to tell you.

You tell me you could hit challenger on game knowledge alone. Than explain to me how a challenger shaco player is now stuck in low diamond?

You have to be an 8 kill shaco to be on par with a 1 kill meta jungler right now. That is imbalance. And that is 100% on the balance team to fix the game.

A meta is something that's always going to exist. You're clearly not reading all of the long posts I'm writing, trying to help you, so I'm just gonna leave you to figure it out yourself. You will eventually.
