Supporting has never been better

Seriously Riot, great job. The Tier 3 SS upgrades are just great. Now the entire team is actually making a solid effort to ward the map and everyone's lives is just so much easier now that I can afford the Captain Enchant.

I'm still having to remind people to use their free wards.

When I saw the sightstone upgrades I wasn't as salty. But I still feel like my choice in buildpath was taken away.

Okay well that's kind of a surprise, maybe I just got lucky with my teammates....are you implying that I'm salty? I quite like the T3 items because it opens up a lot of build paths now, especially on AP Supports.

No, I'm saying that I was salty.

I HATED the changes I saw. I'm still considering quitting and playing a different MOBA.

I made a thread earlier about this: my preferred playstyle was starting two wards and a gold generation item, while other supports started gold gen. and a few potions. Those were our choices. I had the choice to buy more wards if we were doing well and buy mana regen/ap or rushing a sightstone if I felt like it. Now I feel like I'm forced to rush sightstone first back or I'm screwed on vision.

Ah, sorry, the wording confused me a bit.

Yeah I have to admit, the lack of early vision is kind of annoying. I always made Sightstone my first buy but on occasion when I fell behind and didn't have enough to get it first back, I just bought a few a Greens and a Vision. So yeah, this kind of hurts.

I liked having the early vision, because it meant we could see a level 2 gank coming and could engage knowing we were safe. Now I have to ration my trinket ward so I have vision of the river, and ALL MORNING, I haven't seen my adc use their free trinket for the river once. I don't like having to depend on my adc to help me ward.

This change pretty much means I'm abandoning my adc the moment I can afford a sightstone, just so vision is covered.
