Bring someone down from 100% hp to less than 2% by youself..... and have someone come up last second to the kill (who was not in the fight at all) .... and tell me how you feel.

I'd rather a teammate whine about kill stealing than whine that a kill got away because I stood there or he died because he couldn't finish it in time. It also doesn't hurt for you to wait 2 seconds to give an ally an assist; if they take their time to run to help you, if you can you should let them nab an assist (if you absolutely refuse to, don't blame me that my attempt at getting an assist got the kill instead).
If someone is making an effort to only kill steal instead of contributing to the fights, then they are intentionally throwing the match and you should report them. There is a huge difference though, and this is very rare.
It's better for your team to have higher kill participation. So if I'm sitting there and have almost solo-killed someone, and someone comes in to finish him off, that's good. That means our team got both kill gold and assist gold. Kill gold+Assist Gold>Kill gold. What's the issue?

do you really think you needed that extra kill? do you honestly believe its best to load up one player in particular in solo queue?
lets say im vel koz mid, i have the enemy mid laner about to die from my ult, which im still channeling right on his face, his flash is down, theres no escape for him, hes a goner. and my khazix jungle jumps in and gets the kill.
GREAT, thats fantastic. do you know why? because its bonus gold, more than the 300g alone would give is now added to our team.
Ks is a thing it is called Kill Securing..... If you really had done 98% of the damage and they finished the last 2% that is actually better then you getting a solo kill as it now gives your team more gold in assists.

I'd rather have assist gold than solo gold it benefits the team more. I'd rather have an enemy finished, than alive so we can have more HP for the next engage whether it be a tower jg monster or another champ...
I'm like... aw man, cmon. But I just take it with humor and let it go. It's not a big deal. At all. I'd be a bit sad if it is a penta and I could have got it, but I'd let it go too.
What IS a big deal, on the contrary, is when someone tries to let me the kill and either I die or the opponent escapes because my teammate didn't want to deal damage, risking taking "my" kill? I'd really be annoyed. Like, nearly shouting "WTF man we're not here to not KS each other we needed that kill we don't give a fcking damn if you had got it, it was safer if we killed him the soonest possible, and now he killed me/he escaped !"

I have. It's annoying sometimes, but I'd rather my team get kill participation and ultimately get our team as a whole more gold out of it.

Than this someone was smart enough to understand an Assisted-Kill has more value than a Solo-Kill an created more gold for your Team for free.
The only time KS should be annoying is when the Support is intentionally taking kills, their build doesn't require gold nor should they really be building damage unless someone like Brand or Annie. Otherwise, its gold to the team and as long as your team gets it, it shouldn't matter.
