Is it just me or CDR is everywhere?
I feel like I would rather have CDR taken off some item to make them stronger in their intended purpose. It's very rare that I end a game with less than 20-30% CDR...
is clearly intended to be the '' ton of HP '' item, why not take off the CDR and give it more HP?

, the Magic Resist tank items, all have CDR. Maybe make Adaptive Helm lose it's CDR to give more HP and/or MR?
Also, every single support item seems to give mana regen and CDR.
... Do they really ALL need CDR?
It's also true for AD assassin items

I also feel like some stats on the mage items are misplaced... I'd rather have more AP or armor on
rather than CDR, and more AP or magic pen on
instead of health since it's obviously not a defensive item.
Cooldown reduction feels like something you just get as the game progresses instead of a stat that you build wilingly because you need it.
, but Thornmail gives no CDR. While
/
are great, they doesn't give any HP - so Conqueror/Ignite just kill you anyways earlygame.
is mostly an HP item with just 30 Armor tacked on, and doesn't really have the stats I want late-game.
or
, which also don't give any CDR.

, you sometimes want to go into
or
, which unfortunately don't give CDR. So Mages do have some trade-offs to think of.
