So, the placements this season are pretty screwed up.
Now, I'll admit, last season I didn't do too well. Ended up in Bronze II, after climbing out of Bronze III.
I went 6/10 on my provisionals (better than a lot of people) and ended up in Bronze IV? Wtf? I've never been ranked so low! Can someone please explain to me how last season I went 5/10 on my provisionals and ended up in Silver IV, and this season I get put an ENTIRE RANK below?
Diostukos1 votesThey made it so you end up lower than you were last season, or at least I think that's the case.
I think a lot of it also is dependant on your first few matches. If you lose them, your next matches will be against low-elo people.
I won my first three, lost three in a row, and by that i was around mid-silver/low-gold. I won the rest and ended up in Silver 2, where I ended last season.
Live2LetDie1 votesMaster tier... There is a resin they said you will most likely get placed below your last season tier. Think like this, all of plat right now Is p3+ players. That's all high plat/diamonds/masters/challenger in plat. Lower plats, like me, are looking somewhere in gold and so on so forth. Your placements are to get you back at your skill level.
