if you want to make this guy worth playing focus more on his unique features instead of cutting them away

i feel like you want to force him into being like master yi where his kit offers much more than this

pls ake the shield feel less like an invisible power (realy invisible)

I believe he's referring to the fact that it's there doing it's job with no help from the player and has the potential to allow him to win fights with no effort on his part in terms of strategy or mechanics outside of spamming abilities.

Invisible power is a mechanic that's just there, working, that no one notices or is able to play around. Like Sona's old aura bonuses. They were just there when you used abilities you'd be using anyway, giving pretty sizeable buffs to her team, but small enough bonuses that no one noticed them or cared about them. Or something like Draven's old bleed passive, which was always there, dealing a lot of damage that no one noticed because he was already chunking them with auto attacks. Global passives like Janna's or Zilean's were the worst offenders as far as invisible power went, since to use them optimally, all one had to do was pick Janna or Zilean in champ select.

Abilities should be noticeable and require actual input from the user and, ideally, from the opponent (like skillshots, or Sion's shield).

Without his shield though, Yasou would be rather useless however, he would have no way to survive laning phase. I guess while it is has no real way to avoid once its fully charged, it has to be a thing for him to actually survive.

Yasuo's shield is not invisible power, at least not during lane. It's something that, while it will charge on its own and activates when you need it, can be played around by both players. Yasuo can choose to move around a lot more than necessary or even wise in order to charge it faster, and the opponent gets the ability to make it go off on their terms, if they're skilled and paying attention. Anyone claiming that the shield is just invisible power doesn't actually know what the term means.

yes and no ... thats why i called this an invisible power

one 1 auto removes his shield so he will always be atacked after the sield dies out in teamfights sometimes the shield will actualy block damage, sometimes it will get popped without any follow up on it

this shield has 2 roles early its to block harras and its possible to bait for it to expire in the middle of your combo late its to block the burst and it lasts much less than assasins use their full combo so they can still just wait it out

while mechanic is fun and unique riot just gutted it to the point where it barely has any impact besides blocking single autos early (thats realy good for a meele champion buts its not enough for a full passive, and considering yasuos ballance he should get some tuning)

also its just my personal opinion yasuo would be able to live without his shield, he could just grab some lifesteal quints and dorans shield and he would be fine (actualy any yasuo with any items is fine as long as he plays correctly)

I don't think that is what invisible power means.

You act like the shield is random, it gets full when he ultis or from running around, what is invisible about that, the bar showing it is quite clear.

Yeah, he kinds of needs it because he doesn't have any real amount of harass.

That is why it is coupled with a second passive, you know, the one that gives him 100% crit at 50% crit?

No...no he would not. That is his current biggest flaw, early on, he gets poked for free and he can't do much against mages, without that shield, he would have to cheese to actually get anywhere in lane.
