Is there a reason nullifying orb shouldn't work with AD damage?

Seeings how mages have a worthless rune tree. Just wondering your thoughts.

They already explained it back when Runes Reforged got implemented. If that rune would work against AD damage as well, then it would be too strong of an generalist rune.

Either the rune is strong, then it is pretty much mandatory for everyone to take it. Or the rune is weak and just doesn't exist in the game for the players at all.

It seems weird to have a rune that's just item 3156 but scales with AD/AP instead of MR.

That was before they buffed assasins to be instant delete.

That would make it useful against their precious.

where's an ad version of that rune?

Probably because of the armor scaling and the amount of armor in the game.
