A question about DQ/SQ

Why cant we just have both? I mean if people like both why not just put both? Im saying they should just wondering what are the consequences of this?

Because you're not allowed to have fun unless you're having fun the way Riot wants you to have fun

You think you want solo queue, but you don't.

according to the community dynamic queue wouldn't be able to survive as solo queue would thrive due to there being no benefits in dynamic queue. However what doesn't make sense is that, riot states people like dynamic queue over solo queue. If they were to implement solo queue they shouldn't have to worry. A fraction of solo players would be off playing in solo queue while the majority, as they put it, would be playing dynamic queue. Technically both queues would be able to survive, however i believe this is coming down to personal greed.

Wait, it would survive, it wouldn't survive, make up your mind.

Also, the Dynamic match making would have suffered if their were no solo players to fill the gaps. You would only have 2-3 premades against other 2-3 or 5 man premades, and 4 man premades would not exist at all.

And yet, I still feel like Dynamic Q is capable of matching solo's with other solo's 99% of the time.

worded the poorly! what i was trying to state is that the league community states "Dynamic queue can't coexist with solo queue, because to many players would swap" Philosophically it doesn't make sense however, as riot states "The majority of players prefer dynamic queue over solo queue" If they were to implement solo queue, dynamic queue wouldn't suffer is what i'm trying to say. The majority would stay with it and the minority (as riot puts it) would switch to solo queue. This is of course if riot is telling the truth about what there surveys have yielded. Essentially what it really means is there survey didn't actually show the majority preferred dynamic queue or there is an ulterior motive occurring. In my opinion that motive is profit, as they have been cutting back on the types of game modes available to players recently.

Riot said once where if there were 2 queues for ranked and normals the player base would be too split up, so the queue times would be super long and people are already complaining about it, so they can't put in two.

solo players have zero incentive to queue up in dynamic queue over solo queue that kills 4 man queues without solos, duos can only be matched with trios and there are far fewer trios than duos, so duo queues effectively also die.
