For a system that was supposed to bring diversity...

...runes reforged sure made the game a lot more repetitive. It only took some mere weeks for the community to experiment with the new runes and now everyone just picks the "best ones" since some of them are just way too underpowered compaired to the others. It just gave everyone way too much more damage while tuning down resistances. Everyone can now burst down turrets even faster than before while it was clear that they should've be made a lot more tankier instead. ADCs who were already way too privilieged before got even more power while the already struggling bruisers got the sh_t beated out of them once again. The sorcery keystones dosen't even feel mage-centered like it should've been. Some champions barely have some options to choose from when selecting between the keystones since they lack synergy with a lot of playable characters. For some, its the opposite and they synergise way too well with some keystones. A lot of problems are currently hitting the game because of the new runes and it just makes the game plain and repetitive, while the reason why that rework was made was for the exact opposite. We need some serious changes, and please Riot, don't act just like in S7 and wait several months while doing nothing and hoping that everything fixes itself with time

Its basically "Thunderlords" all over again. Bring back the mastery trees from Season 3-4. They may have been cookie cutter but everyone was on an even playing field back then.

Getting rid of "Adaptive Damage" would solve this problem so ADC's can't abuse things like Arcane Comet.

The game while it does take skill is always dominated by math, anything that was created by math will have a "mathmatical" best option, that's why the meta exists, they are the champions that have been proven mathmatically to be the best options. No matter how hard we try to escape from it, league will always be a game about getting big numbers than the guy next to you.
