Orianna nerfed for being just ok?

People were making it sound like she is OP or something but I only see a 50.3% win rate. Is she litteraly being nerfed for being playable?

Could the nerf at least target her forgiving early game by hitting her insignificant q mana cost? Instead the nerf is to her w, her highest cost and most punishing ability when used incorrectly.

You do understand using win rate u got from 1 random website doesn't make a champ balanced

Ok, then what is making her unbalanced? Is it the buff to her ult cool down or q mana cost? Because those are literally the only changes to the champion in the last 3 years. This isnt exactly a meta that makes her suddenly strong, so what is the problem? She has had the same damage and utility for years and never gone over a 50% win rate. She becomes playable for one month amd that makes her OP?

winrates dont mean anything (Ryze) look at her kit itself she has no counters, does high burst damage that doubles as poke on like a 6 second cooldown, a very forgiving kit with 2 abilities to peel not just herself but allies, a shield, and has the utility of a support so she never falls off. She's one of the best champions for teamfighting and has a strong laning phase and has passive + shield to make sure she never loses trades against the majority of midlaners, like when tf is she ever weak? Stop lying to yourself she's not balanced her kit has way too much.

so you are gonna base the argument that she has no counters from an interview from a former LCK mid laner who was talking about on the highest level?

No, even before he said that she has no weak points and she felt really strong when playing her. She's just so safe with all the utility she has and doesn't have a point where she isn't strong in the game. She's good early, mid game and late.

i just asked... some cited an interview from adpo ( or whatever his name is) stating in the interview she had no counters.

but there are match ups she has losing win rates vs

so i dont think the statement she has no counters is true.

Orianna is countered by hard engage like any immobile mage. She is countered by long range like any mid ranged duelists. Her support is mediocre at best with a 100 mana speedboost and a shield. There is a reason she has never been a real support. She is a mage with a shield. Her burst doesnt even become real until mid-late game. For real burst see Anivia and Velkoz.

How is she countered by hard engage? She can just slow/speed away from them with her W and ult if they get too close. The only engage champ that can get on top of her is JarvanIV but that's just how he is.

She isn't countered by long range since she can shield poke of stuff like Xerath or Jayce. She isn't a support yes I get that, but she does the same job as one even though she's a midlaner which is fine but then she has the damage of a burst mage. She has the best of both classes.

In lane her burst isn't that high, but all she has to do is QW and AA if she wants to and shield if they fight back for a win. Rinse and repeat until you can catch them in an ult. Even if Anivia/Vel'koz have more burst than her she more than makes up for it with all the utility she has that makes sure she's relevant if she gets behind and is just stronger if she's ahead.

Pro play. She is really strong in pro matches. Even at msi there were games Faker got smashed in lane, and by the end of the match he was super strong.
