Is this loss streak ever going to stop? How do I stay positive?

PLEASE help me. What do you guys do? I've done everything tip wise to try to snap this shit. It just won't stop. 12 losses in a row and no sign of any hope of winning. Huge drop from Gold 1 to the bottom of Gold 3. Every match has been a straight up stomp. Doesn't even matter if I'm doing well in lane, there's always some other laner / player just getting smashed on my team which snowballs out of control. Not once did I feel like my team had control of this game. How do I break this ridiculous shit? I'm EXTREMELY frustrated with this. Every team I'm being placed on just seems to get worse and worse with an increase in toxicity.

Shouldn't it have eventually placed me with people who can play well? I'm not asking for a carry but at this point I honestly don't give a shit. I just more than anything want a team who can hold their own. I'm sick of how fast you can get onto a losing streak but winning is just sprinkled here and there. This is the most I have ever lost in a row and it's sickening.

The absolute best thing you can do to break a losing streak is to walk away for a while. Maybe you're tilted, maybe you're queuing at a bad time, but something is making you lose more often than you typically do. Take a break, clear your head, and come back hours or perhaps even a day later.

Agreed, go find something else to do for a few days and come back with a clear mind. League aint gana die in 1 night.

Yeah I don't know, I really wish there was a clear cut answer. I'm being placed with fuckin silver players now. That's how far this stupid ass losing streak has dropped me. My MMR just tanked, now I have to claw my way back up. Too easy to drop, extremely hard to go up.

All true, and it's going to be a pain to get back up there, but there's no sense worrying about it now. All you can really do is make sure you are playing at your best, since you are the only variable in that game you can fully control.

If you got up there once you can do it again, so best of luck to you.

That's the problem I have with this stupid ass system though. It kicks you while you're down. I just got out of a match where I CLEARLY out skilled, played, and laned my opponent. I roamed top, helped jungle, etc etc. We still ended up losing and it INFURIATES me when I lose to people who clearly shouldn't even be in my match. My issue is I get these teams who either don't understand or appreciate the basics of the game (warding, kiting, collapsing, objective control, etc.) They die once and it's the end of the fucking world. By the time I'm level 6 the enemy bot lane is like 4-0. It just gets stupid. I'm still waiting for this damn game to FINALLY allow me to win. I can only do so much as a solo player. I'm even getting these damn silver players in my matches, that's how bad this shit has got. I hate it.

Well, you don't have to be a solo player. Sure Flex has a stigma around it, but at this point who really cares about it? I play League because I find competition fun, but there are so many things that can ruin my fun if I queue up solo. I'd rather queue with a premade than be slowly pushed away from a game that I legitimately enjoy.

Hey man, if it makes you feel any better, i once had a 16 game loosing streak. It happened almost a year ago, but I still remember it to this day, it haunts me in my dreams sometimes.

Yeah I just don't get that shit. Like out of ALLLLL those matches, not ONE time are you placed on a decent team. It's like they kick you while you're down. Feeders, AFK players, super toxic players, auto fills, first time champs. All that bull shit. They end up dropping you so low you just curb stomp a match because the other team is just that bad.

Take a break for a couple of days, if you must play league then stick to normals/aram etc. Playing champions like Zed, Talon and Ekko you want to look to roam and cause mischief elsewhere. You don't even need to go far on talon, just go out of vision after walking through the bot-side river bush and instantly they will back off leaving your laners some free cs. Sometimes your laner will even leave lane to pursue at which point you can either show in lane again making them come back, or set up a gank on him in river (if your jg is in the right position/circumstance/isn't bad). You can also roam when you see your jg is going for a gank to give the best chance of getting kills. Remember to always try and leave the wave pushing in mid so your laner can't get damage on your tower, and if you/your jg get some vision in the enemies jg and spot him out, look to punish him.

In short if you are ahead, then look to influence the other areas of the map while maintaining dominance in your own. If you're behind, then try to influence the map anyway with vision and supporting ganks. That's really what mid lane is all about now, even as a carry.

Oh last thing I can suggest is if you are ahead don't tax. It might get you more fed, but will leave your laners even further behind when you're gone. Instead drop down some extra vision for them to prevent them getting ganked as easily.

Hope that helps :)

Edit: Also please note I haven't watched any of your games so dont know your playstyle, this is just what I commonly see successful assassins do (myself included when i play them) and unsuccessful ones not do.

I had a 16 game loss steak one time. Sometimes you slump or get unlucky teams, just keep playing if your mental is fine, or take a break.

Just chill and take a break.

That doesn't work. Like not at all. I've even stayed off a an entire day, came back, same shit happens. Just tired of the bull shit. Insta drop to a trash tier, then I have to CRAWL and CLAW my way back up. It's a stupid fuckin system.

i have a 30% winrate in norms right now man. i cant even tell whether its me or my team anymore

First of all play some normals and just relax. I just had the same thing happen to me and I managed to break the loss streak. Maybe play a different game. Remember that at the end of the day its JUST video game and there is no need to get mad over it. I have found the most success in roaming bot and top constantly and helping out. First I push my lane to the tower and then make a quick roam. I play Aurelion, Taliyah, Zoe, Talon, Ahri. All champs that are capable of roaming to other lanes and acting as a second jungler. Thats how I broke my loss streak, by chilling and playing champs I could use to get around the map and gank. Try it and see if it works.

Thanks for your reply. It's been a shitty weekend (League wise). I'm gettin off to go play some Zelda: a Link to the Past. Maybe it's a bit of burnout.

A wise choice. Any legend of Zelda game is a great game lol. Just play some norms before you go back into ranked to get that negative attitude outta your head and you`ll be a-okay
