Now that I think about it I'm disappointed with Bard.

Well let's face it, there aren't many people who are able to play him effectively. With champion releases so infrequent it's not very exciting to wait months to get a champion that barely matters. I mean sure he'll probably end up being competitively viable but for most players he's not a real factor.

And also, I'm always pretty disappointed with core support champions because they're designed to only be viable in the support position. This makes them less playable since you need to get that specific position to play them. Most other champions are more flexible in which position they're viable in so when new releases are not core support it's more exciting to me.

I dunno, bruiser Vayne and Graves top is a thing. Along with Quinn in general.

And Nidalee can go top, bottom, your mother, and to Narnia for what it matters.

Tho dedicated adc and supports are somewhat limited... especially mid lane is the league of acrobatics right now...

There's plenty of non-support champions you can play. Not every new champion has to be a able to perform in multiple roles because the community wants a new jungler everytime a champion is released. I'm just as disappointed than you are when we get a top laner or a jungler. Rek'sai, pfft. More like give me a mage!
