Why do people try so hard in PBE?

Seriously, it's a beta environment. The reason why Riot gets no data on anything when a new patch is on the PBE is because nobody plays anything other than overpowered/overbearing champions. Zed, Kindred, Yi, Ornn, Darius, only the major picks ever get selected. I go on PBE to try new characters without affecting my main account, yet I never learn anything because I'm always fighting Zed or Yasuo mid, Ornn or Darius top, or having a Yi or Kindred in the jungle. It's literally like playing the same game over and over, and everyone treating it like they're gaining LP. Not to mention that as soon as someone dies once they AFK. Yes, this is a rant, but it's also a call for people to treat the PBE as the learning and testing environment it's meant to be, not as a public stomping ground for every M7 Zed and Yasuo main to 1v9 for fun.
