Supports are the same way, with harass, sustain, and engage

Engage beats Sustain Sustain beats Harass Harass beats Engage

If you have an engage supports that gets counterpicked by a harass support, stop flaming them for not engaging. They cant do anything when their health bar is constantly at half and they're trying to proc Targon's in order to heal the two of you. ESPECIALLY stop flaming if your jungler won't even help. An engage support shouldn't go in on a losing fight, and you shouldn't be flaming them for that call.

Vayne do u have an engage? Bard don´t worry i have a very unreliable stun that 90% of players won´t hit Vayne do u have sustain? Bard sure i do i have a really shitty one that has to charge and drains my mana super quick Vayne do you have at least some poke? Bard well i have beefy auto attacks but i´m quite short ranged and since i am squishy i get engaged on easily Vayne so why do i have to lane with you? Bard you are not laning with me. ( wanders off collecting meeps )
