I have never seen someone buy Giant killer before last whisper

Seriously, its AD and 10% dmg increase is so useless for so many reasons :

• Buying it early would barely make you benefit from the passive because most of the ennemies don't have enough HP
• Even if you would benefit from the 10% dmg increase, your dmg is way too low during early phase to actually enjoy this item
• 10 dmg is way too low considering the price
• Or, on the opposite, it's 1000 is too expansive in early game considering it's effect. (executionner is 200 gold cheaper AND provides 5 more dmg with GW)
• People prefer to buy Last whisper during mid phase considering that both items give 10 dmg and an additionnal effect, which, last whisper's effect is way more superior for an extra 300 gold

Can we add more power to the item OR lower it's cost...?

• Lower the cost to 800 or 900 gold. Increase dominik's recipe cost by 100 or 200 to even it out.
• Make it build from 2 long swords and have the dmg increase to 20. Total cost is 1100.
