Remember when Zed had no delay swap on R? Back then, he was considered bad by the pro players and rarely picked in the pro scene. Then riot said Zed is the healthiest assassin in the game with the most counterplay, but then they nerf him some more by putting 1 sec delay on R swap. He gets picked 1 time in 3+- months by Incarnation who didn't use his R at all the entire game, so riot "buffed" zed by making the delay 0.5 sec. Zed goes in to world with 0.5 sec delay, gets picked two times, has 0% win rate.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Riot balancing 10/10.

He never was on top, stay delusional. Maybe top 10 picks, but never the top pick like current worlds: GP, Mordekaiser, Lulu etc.

I also got to agree this nerf decission was stupid. Zed was never any of those faceroll 1v5 champions, he has always been really high skill high risk->high reward type of champion. I think riot is balancing game a bit stupid currently, they don't reward high individual skill so people are kinda forced to play quite average skill level champions in middle, like viktor, veigar, orianna, tf, lulu. Those that can be hard to master but really don't offer same kind of flashy plays like Zed would bring.

And why is leblanc able to W and then jump back to his W immidiately but Zed can't do the same with his ultimate? I really don't understand riots logic and I would hope they would change it back.

Even if that ulti was reverted back to where it was, I don't really see zed as 100% pick / ban champion, prolly not even 50% which would be acceptable already. Why do they promote champions like darius that really isn't so hard to play?

Zed wasn't a balanced assassin in the first place. And honestly, on the list of champs who need help, he's hardly a priority right now.

I don't get why people are bitching over 0.5 seconds. That's literalyl the time it takes to do W Q E and BoTRK. The only thing that they harmed was using your ult on someone to dodge something and then instantly go back, which was not the point of the ability

There's nothing "hard" about playing Zed. He's got a very safe lane phase, and he's more about quick decision making more than anything else. He really isn't mechanically intensive at all. You just have to know when you can go in and how to escape a situation if you can. Nothing to do with Zed bring "hard". Zed's current state is fine, the meta just doesn't suit him right now.
