let me pick 40 champs for my arurf pool, and then draw from that

a 3/40 chance to land a specific champion but a 0/150 chance of getting something I fucking hate to play as

that way the urf 'meta' wont happen

ill be able to play who i want

abuse prevention:

No trading for champs not on your list,

dodges lock your roll in place (So your next lobby you get the same champ),

reroll cap reduced to 1, minimum rerolls per Completed lobby set to 1

I think it'd be better if, like Nexus Blitz, the entire champion pool was open to everyone in random modes. Maybe even apply this to ARAM as well.

This would have the following impacts...

  1. It'd prevent those trying to increase chances of getting (a) certain champion(s) by having accounts with a limited pool of owned champions.

  2. Increase the champions you see in games. Right now, it SEEMS like there's a higher chance to see certain champions, probably because A) everyone rolls away from unfavorable ones, and B) most players have champion pools lacking those champions to begin with.

  3. Despite the first part of the point above, I am not against rerolls. I think everyone should get a default of two per game (three tries for 140+ champions), and I say that as someone who has the Golden Spatula thing (I got it more so for the skins). You should not be able to buy a soft advantage. To prevent abuse, if you dodge, you take a queue time penalty AND end up with the last champion you had anyway.

  4. If someone else dodges, you default to the last champion you had and number of remaining rerolls.

This might be hard to implement, but it's how I'd like to see it. That last one can be good or bad; sometimes another player dodges when I have no rerolls and a champion I'm not too fond off, and get three more tries. Other times, I have a champion I like a lot, haven't played in a long while, and then go a long while until I get again. Many of my champions seem to be not so popular ones too, so UNLESS someone owns it who doesn't like it (outside those who own all champions, rare), I seldom even get the chance to play it from someone else re-rolling/ditching it. I'd like to see all champions open in random modes to, you know... make them random more.

Everyone says URF should be not random, but I disagree. Not random will make it more boring and more the same. It just needs to be done randomly BETTER than it is.

So while i like 2/3/4 I just have to ask.. whats the big deal of people having some control over not being forced to play champs they fucking hate? like. Why not have the standard at a pool of 40 that you can customize to your liking just like runes or masteries? a big enough number that its not a garantee you'll get your ubercomp and a small enough number that you can be reasonably expected to have had a few games on all the champs (Or similar champs)

I just keep thinking "Wow the fact that im forced to play this champion I hate right now is so stupid"

Maybe it's not about it being random but honestly I think it's about how many champs I don't like playing. and i've tried every champ at least a dozen times.. I've been playing since 2012.. and I know who i don't like playing and who I do like to play

hell even putting yourself down as a few champ classes could be desirable.. maybe you're an adc main so you pick 'marksmen' and you know supports so you throw in 'supports' so champs in those designations would be the roster. that way guys who like fighters/tanks or mages/assassins or whatever combo of two would actually be able to weed out a lot of what they don't like. I can see why you don't want everyone being lux and ziggs in aram or karth in arurf but can you acknowledge my side that lots of people just dont want to be forced... for 20 minutes or longer... to play a champion that they dislike playing and have no want to learn just to play something like Urf which in and of itself is a set of cool mechanics? Or just to not be stuck playing a juggernaut in Aram if they don't know how to play front liners (It's better for their team too)

I mean... we could just have two quos or AT LEAST time to do something to counter rune... My old idea was to use something akin to the old teambuilder system and to unlock the limit of number of specific champs per game, like.... just basically make it as wonky as possible and have your bans set before you even enter matchmaking

Yeah... URF and ARAM need all champions unlocked.
