let me just start by saying last season i went 2-8 in placements (silver 4 yay!), and after playing a total of 48 games (excluding end of season/pre season) and dodging games as i deemed appropriate, i finished with a 60% win rate 29-19. (after you factor in placements which i didn't care about just wanted to get placed already) that makes 27-11.

no, its just that there are games won/lost on champ select. i can see them, you can see them too, they start with rengar top, and that questionable mid lane matchup sona vs zed. which you dont find favorable.

so lets look at this season, which entails me not dodging, now im down to a total 48% win rate after (22-24), why is this? trolls and feeders, i am literally at the mercy of my team mates instead of taking matters into my own hands. im trying to be nice and just let everything happen "maybe riot knows what they're doing", but i know better than my team mates do and i feel like im being let down in ranked. of all places.

so lets reiterate.

you can win in champ select, you can also lose. knowing this is half the battle and its the difference between climbing quickly and climbing over 300 games.
