If Lux weren't strong, would you upgrade her passive to give vision of affected enemies?

Lux is in a good spot, so Riot will not do this now, but imagine she weren't in a good spot. Do you think it'd be neat if she got an improvement to Illumination whereby it grants vision of affected enemies? It'd make sense on her given her theme.

Alternatively, it could be modified such that if Lux procs the passive by landing either a basic attack or by landing her ult, it deals damage and grants vision of the target for a limited time, maybe even with True Sight. That could be better if having the vision tied to the Illumination debuff is too overbearing.

Considering how powerful vision is, I doubt it. That's a huge power budget considering all her damaging abilities apply her passive, and in aoe.

Im actually surprised it wasant released like this, it makes too much sense.

I dont think lux is that good atm, just decent, and even a buff like this wouldnt break her.

Lux is fairly strong, though assassins still give her grief. She's very safe for a mage, but some assassins like Zed or Fizz just spit all over safety mechanics.

I mean, her E already gives vision. I don't suppose it would be too large of a buff and would make support lux more viable while not really affecting mid lux too much. Decent idea tbh

It's an interesting mechanic idea. Lowering the Damage and/or increasing the CD on her ultimate would be suffice enough to implement this I think. It'd also add a higher mechanical level to her kit, as Lux ulting for the sight and not just the damage, would add another tier of strategy to her mostly linear kit.

But as you said, her kit is very strong as is and I couldn't see why Riot would ever NEED to implement it.

The same idea could be applied to Leona's passive as well.

i would be all for this as it makes sense thematically

but only if they fix all of her hitboxes first

and reduce the aoe size of Lucent Singularity

Or perhaps it could be that she has to proc the passive to get the vision effect.

i would prefer it if she would gain attackspeed for autoing a target with her passive i know it sounds weird but clearing waves with her just takes so long
