YES, pro players from all over the world are going to play on the NA server. This is your chance to meet your favorite players in ranked, if you're high enough elo. Enjoy guys!

This pretty much only applies to Master/Challenger players for the most part, and then maybe some Plat/Diamond. But nothing says they'll play outside of just Worlds, so IDK.

Why would they waste their time on the NA server though when competition is greater on the others?

Because they're going to come to NA ahead of time to adjust to jet lag. They're most likely going to play a couple of ranked games to polish their mechanics and they're 100% going to scrim. Also, i remember distinctly back in season 2 where Taipei Assassins were the world champions and Worlds was held in NA, the players did play on the NA server solo queue.

And you think they'll play on the public server vs the tournament one. That's a cute thought. Unrealistic but cute.

They're not going to boot camp in NA, they'll probably all go to Korea to boot camp as they usually do, then come to NA during the worlds event where they're likely to only be scrimming on the tournament server anyway.

Worlds was spread across europe last year, but everyone still boot camped in Korea.
