Make Champ Permanents a reward for reaching M5 on a Champion.
I came up with this idea after all my lower level friends got off one night and were complaining about how hard it is to get BE / new champions. Often times, they'd get a champ shard they like, but then not have the BE for it for another 2 levels. I think that making a reward attached to M5 on a champion that gives you a new champion to fiddle around with might be a good idea, and solve a few problems in the progress.
For starters, champion permanents can still be disenchanted for BE, which would make it easier to target a certain champion a player wants. It also means that they are GUARANTEED a new champion for each champion they master, if they choose to master more than one, which leads to my next point.
As it is right now, most newbies come into the game and are forced to one trick due to the limited resources you give them to work with. In my opinion, no one should be forced to one trick due to the system treating them poorly; one tricking is a player's choice, it shouldn't be the systems. As of the moment, I train any people new to league that join our college club, and its overwhelming how many of them are one tricks. Out of the around 20 I have trained so far, 13 of them became one - tricks early on and 8 of those continued to be one tricks even after they got a roster of champions to work with. That's around 40% of new players that one trick due to circumstances, if the statistic holds. What's funny, is we found that even just giving them starter pack codes actually managed to reduce the number of one tricks to around 1 in every 20 people, or about 5%.
Either way, the blue essence gauntlet for low level players needs fixed. As the system stands right now, only longtime players thrive and new players just instantly fall in the gutter due to the constantly low amount of BE they get to use for ANYTHING. Giving a champion permanent whenever you reach M5 on a champion would be an amazing fix to this system, because it would add more BE consistency as well as create a system that rewards you for learning a wide variety of champions, which I feel is a very crucial part of league especially when you have no clue how every champion works.
