I've been playing kat for 2 weeks now. Throughout the past week, I've managed to get 3 pentas on her, something I wasn't ever able to do with my main, diana. The saddest part is, my recent penta was a 1v5. I wasn't even that fed. This is really unhealthy to the game imo, something should be done to fix her.

Also, in your video, not only did that team mess up horribly, you also had Soraka helping you for the last like two champions. I think you would have been dead if not for her.

this vid really is a terrible example if they are trying to say she is broken. I guess every champ with a 1v5 video in history needs to be nerfed now. If sion held his q doen for a quarter of a second longer, then it would have stunned him.....
majorashash1 votesThere are tons of counters to katarina, If she is CC'ed (like practically any other champ) she is dead. Also, they made the mistake of grouping together. Poke her, CC her, out range/smart her and you win.

good luck with that unless that katc screws up... pretty much every CC is now a skillshot which she can easily shunpo away from on a 2 second cooldown.. unless she actaully WASTES shunpo on a non dagger to NOT get a reset. you not going to hit any sort of decent kat with any sort of skillshot. and you cant even predict a shunpo to a dagger becuase she can shunpo to ANY SIDE of it...
unless your CCing her with a point and click.. she has to mess up for the cc to hit..

saying "most" is stretching it.. .even so, that still doesn't change the fact that to actually HIT her with the skill shot AFTER a shunpo the projectile of said skillshot has to be already in the air and depending on the speed but always at least halfway to the location of the dagger.
i mean all she has to do is NOT shunpo when she see's the skillshot going toward her dagger.
then wait another half second for that skillshot to pass by the dagger... then shunpo.
i mean if you shunpo INTO a skillshot.. YOU messed up.. i mean if your about to shunpo to a dagger you HAVE your cursor ON the dagger... you should be able to SEE a skillshot going toward it. doesn't need to be LOOKING at his shadow to go there he just presses it again)
because she can shunpo anywhere has to visually click on the dagger WHILE she see's a skill shot going toward it..
and that is HER messing up.
so again my point still stands.. if SHE doesn't mess up.. YOU cannot hit her with any sort of skillshot in a 1v1 fight.

conversely you could also say you have to mess up for the CC not to hit. She is not the only champion in the game with a blinking ability. Similar concept to preemptively aiming at zed's shadow. If you get outplayed it can be a combination of bad timing, positioning, or preparedness (CD, Mana, summs, etc). You can easily learn how to play against any champ.

and shunpo has a 2 second cooldown if she uses it to a dagger.. so like i said.. unles she MESSES UP and uses the full duration by not going to a dagger. its ALWAYS going to be up.
zed's shadow lasts a specifc time.. and he goes to the EXACT center of it so you can predict it..
also.. if you "predict" a zed he STILL messed up... becuase skillshots have travel time where as he shadow teleport (and shunpo) does now. so the skillshot would already be in the air by the time it goes there.

You've completely misread my comment. I was referring to someone being outplayed by a katarina. You don't understand how to play against her it seems, their team did not walk out of your ult, they kept engaging you despite you getting resets, they played it terribly. I know katarinas mechanics, no need to explain them in caps lock, thanks though. What you're saying is that basically not a single person in this world can outplay or counter play a katarina and that is just pretty fallacious. I have been playing katarina for a few years, my main for 2 then she got her rework, and I still play her often. Your massive wall of text is implying that katarina cant ever be caught, CC'ed, predicted, outplayed, or countered and that every person who plays kat is untouchable, to be honest that is just ignorant.

im not the OP .... and no... if she plays correctly... she can dodge skillshots endlessly form a single champsion..
obviously if another champion on your team throws a CC at her afterwords then yeah she cant shunpo again... a 2 second cooldown is a 2 second cooldown... you got 2 seconds to hit her
but unless she misplays.. in a 1v1 your not going to hit her with a skillshot unless SHE screws UP
