Why do people ban new champs in normal draft?

people are d-bags, they don't wanna play against the new champs because they don't wanna adapt, for now, just be quick about it in blind

People still hate to play with new champions because they are either frelo and cancer to play against or if it is on their team, sometimes they would be better off if the player was afk.

People usually get beat hard by them then blame it on them being broken instead of them getting outplayed, or sometimes they ARE actually broken. Either one.

Rakan feels really bad to play against supports who lack near-instantaneous CC that can take advantage of the delayed knockup. His dash is very fast so it's almost impossible to interrupt. And he can escape reliably after going in. I'm okay with Xayah, though. Her snare has counterplay, and her damage is not too crazy.

Even if it is just draft pick, having your game ruined because someone doesn't know how to play the champion isn't a whole lot of fun.
