Just what is the counterplay to Kassadin?
I honestly lose probably 99% of the games I play against 
. I'd like some tips to trying to beat him. If i can't kill him in lane he just comes back and one shots any squishy with Roa + Lich Bane.

everyone buys at least 1 MR item (yes I know it isnt "the build" for your champ, but for fcks sake you arent doing any damage if you are dead anyways)
or just pick this guy mid and never let kass get his items in the first place :D
Kayle, or any champ who can push hard enough to keep him from roaming and has the tools to survive an all in at level 6.

Zhonyas and never be alone out of lane
Sadly this requires cooperation frim teammates which is not always available
Mid lane Lucian is probably the hardest counter he has tbh.
Lucian can out poke him from range, out damage him early, dash to him early, and dash out of riftwalks later.
