Is sion supposed to go all tank?

I feel like I don't do enough damage because I don't build offence.

-Randuins -Spirit Visage -Frozen Heart -Merc treads or slow one -Banshee veil -GA

My revised build now: -Randuins -Spirit Visage -Frozen Heart -THORNMAIL INSTEAD OF BOOTS -Banshee veil -SUNFIRE CAPE INSTEAD OF GA

Ehh, you have enough CC to generally not give a crap.

40% CDR Sion: Always have your ult for any fight lel.

Replace the merc treads with a thornmail, replace GA with warmog's, replace randuin's with cinderhulk. grab gromp buff, proceed to 1v3 APC, ADC and tank

I'm top lane not jungler so I intentionally left off jungle items. Unless you want me to take smite top which hey is ok i guess

Also, build Sunfire, that'll do damage.

Sion doesn't do a ton of up front damage, but because he can stick to someone and just be gorram unkillable, it builds up.

drop the ga for sunfire imo and if you want offensive for more dmg replace banshees with a hydra

A guide I read said that building full tank and picking up Sorc Shoes is really good, as you have two skills that benefit from magic penetration moreso than raw AP. I've found moderate success with it.

The other thing you can go is Trinity Tank. Sion can use (to some extent) everything that Trinity Force has to offer, especially when you can E someone and then use the Sheen auto for more damage, as their armor was shredded by E. It also lets you move around easier; the Phage passive, along with Merc Treads, will make it harder for the enemy team to lock your passive in one spot.
