He looks nothing like yorick, talks nothing like yorick, plays nothing like yorick

He literally has nothing from yoricks kit incorporated

The only thing in common is a shovel.

Seriosly, you make something that isn't yorick at all, and dont just release it as a new champion? I'll be honest it looks fun. But i really enjoy yorick, i have fun playing the kit that yorick has, and i half expected something along the lines of updating his abilities to have more utility and counterplay instead of just literally destroying one of the first champs in the game to pretend you remade him.

This is in no way shape or form yorick, tell me how he remotely resembles the gravedigger,

A relaunch is just that... they full remake the champion. Sure, Poppy, Sion and even Taric's kept some aspects of their older selves but not all champions need too. Yorick is a hot mess the way he is now (and I do love him) but he really needed this and it makes him so much more.

The Gravedigger is gone, The Shepherd of Lost Souls has taken the stage.

my issue is this: They could have attempted to tweak his kit over time through buffs and nerfs and minor reworks, until he became something different.. but still yorick.

They're literally deleting a champion i loved to see and replacing it with something that's interesting but has an entirely different playstyle at its core

This just isn't yorick at all.

Like the champion... The thing i liked to play as from time to time... that is gone, there is nothing that compares at all to his playstyle, and that entire playstyle is gone.

I get it, he was dated, needed a lot of work. But in all honesty i'm like "What?"

Hell even the sion update wasn't this drastic, his abilities at least were generally similar.

Where's my sustain, my post death revenge?

He can't resurrect, he cant support anymore, like what is he? cause he's not yorick.

Imagine if they did this to literally any other champion in the game on this level.

His kit was so one dimensional, and so boring, i dont see what could be done about it. All he did was summon 3 types of ghosts that were almost identical. His ult was just a bad zilean ult on a timer. And thats it.

He kept his summoning theme, he raises corpses from their graves, other than that, he got his kit updated and his visuals/lore along with it.

I played Yorick before rework, and its my pocketpick against stupid champions like renekton riven teemo some other bs range champions. But I kinda like the new rework Yorick too, its different and looks really cool and fit his theme better.

Even though I also like the old Yorick, its just so simple and boring to play. I rather have more interesting more mechanical champions in this game than not.
