You need a lot less AD then you need AP to be effective and with armor and mr having the same value for their relative fields, why in the hell is last whisper shreding as much armor as Viod staff shreds mr?

Kuroi861 votesThe whole of AD itemization is problematic. IE rush has made marksmen mid games too strong, but after the BT nerf there's not really any other item that is a great first rush without leaving you with negligible damage. The only exceptions are marksmen that scale better with AS.

LongFur Fox1 votesWhile last whisper might be problematic (it does solve a couple of problems like the season 2 tank meta) it is not in relation to ap vs ad since getting mr is much harder than armor (there are no 100 mr items while armor has two to not get started on a long analysis).

However MR and Armor work exactly the same. That's why LW and VS can work exactly the same.
But yeah they are way more of a problem than DFG or IE.
