@Lyte: Can we do away with permanent bans for verbal stuff? Just ban that player's chat instead

Anytime you permaban someone, I guarantee they'll just make a new account, boost themselves back up to their old status, and be toxic as ever all over again. They'll do this multiple times, even, just to defy your system.

Permanent bans, I feel, are an incorrect response to verbal toxicity. Sure, permaban someone for hacking or fraud, but for toxicity? Nah, why should that keep someone from playing the game?

All you gotta do is give them a permanent chat ban. When that player shuts the fuck up, maybe he'll be better off. There, MUCH BETTER.

I doubt you'll give a rat's ass about a single opinion, but this one's mine. No permabans for chat-stuff!
