Why is Singed allowed to be so strong?

The only advice I can atually find to fight him is don't. He will out last you in a fight, tank everything you have, and his poison will evaporate you. I mean I have seen singeds run around the enemies base taking turret shot after turret shot, fighting and taking damage from 5 people and still get out alive and with a kill or two. Someone explain how this is balanced to me. I've seen him near 1v5 10 minutes into the game with 2 items on both my team and the others.

Just had a game where it took our entire team to kill Singed every time we found him solo. Literally everyone had to drop what they were doing. He had 5 armor items, and MR boots and took next to no dmg from full build AP champs.

I don't understand it. Most influential champ in any game I play if played right.

I hate playing against Singed, because he is not fun to play against. However, he is not in any way "strong". He is just like Teemo.

Singed won't do much if you ignore him and if he comes close to you to deal damage, you can punish him, since he requires you to chase him in order to do damage.

Let him go farm your creeps between your 2 turrets. It doesn't matter.

He throws you behind him, and then what do you do? This is an actual question, not a 'he can throw you, your point is wrong'

That is the thing he builds move speed, a little ap, and tank plus combined with ghost, you can't really get away if he gets you when you have 50-60% hp up or anything below. His poison really hurts and he can easily take hits from 5 people. He is really rather strong now and "stay away from him and don't engage ever" is the whole point of my argument. For one he can outspeed you, and two you can't fight him. So how is that not strong?

Hmm... it feels like that the poison + his autos + fling do about 200 to 300 damage, although I probably shouldn't trade back at all during that due to his courage shield.

But really, I'm not punishing him at all for getting into melee range, am I? Especially if I'm not using an Illaoi or similar who can stand there and throw skillshots at him, instead of sticking and auto'ing.

He is not like teemo. Singed is actually useful and right now he is decently strong. He does not need nerfs but he is one of the best top laners right now.
