Make Windwall move forward.

One of the reasons Yasuo is so obnoxious is that he can just sit and dance behind his windwall, and it feels like it just lasts forever if you are a ranged champ. If the wall moved kinda like the upgraded version in odyssey, he would have to play alongside it differently, it would not defend him forever and he won't be able to defend his team from all of the ranged TF damage with just one well placed ability. It would still be defensive when well used, but as it will advance forward quickly it's stationary defense as a bulwark will be hindered, making it more fair for the ranged enemies. You could also try to add an slow to it just to play with it, but I won't add anything else since Yas kit is already overloaded.

Or just wait for the windwall to end.... It has like a 30 second cd, isn't maxed until late game, and can only be reduced in cd, which is something yasuo's almost never build. And it only lasts in one location for a few seconds.

I just wish that it wouldn't eat the spell/attack that hits it. Unless it has a ground effect like Braum R or Vel'Koz W, it just fizzles into the wall, making one of the best places to stand vs a ranged champion is literally inside the wall, since both sides block projectiles. Make it work like Braum E, where the projectile hits and takes effect like it was blocked by the wall. So things like Ashe R still slows, Vel'Koz Q still splits, Corki R explodes on the wall, etc (But things like Liss Q still don't go through). This has no effect on projectiles that have no AOE effects attached, but still gives counterplay to the wall and doesn't eliminate ranged carries from the fight when Yasuo presses W. This also gets rid of the dumb interaction where the wall comes out from inside Yasuo, so that if he times it right, it will block anything no matter what direction the wall was placed.

I like the idea of it moving though, it gives it a clear weakness when in a losing fight but makes it a great engage tool for the team.

Remove width scaling. Remove width scaling. Remove width scaling.

It's completely unnecessary. Sure he maxes it last but that's no excuse for such a dumb scaling.

That change would just add a higher skill ceiling to Yas making it even less likely to be nerfed in the future while it remains completely broken as an ability.

Windwall has half a dozen things that need adjusting (blocks both sides, insta castb ect.) but the worst thing about it has always been how absolute it is in what it blocks. If you described windwall to someone who had never seen it before and then asked them if they thought it was an ultimate or a basic ability, guaranteed they would say ultimate. It's logistics are insane and the sheer volume of what it blocks makes it unbalancable as a basic ability.

Honestly if it where up to me I would make it block only either just ability projectiles or just ranged AAs, choosing whichever is strongest. Then we can look at balancing it through it's numbers and values.

Thats not even a nerf...........

Windwall should just be IIIIIIIIIIIIIII SHAPED rather than ))))))))))))))) shaped also it shouldnt be so wide in general and there you go thats how you nerf Yasuo specificly W
