Why is Tahm Kench's main role listed as "Support"?

Okay, yes, he has one ability where he can grab an ally and run away with it, and he can take one person with him in his ult. Yet he fits the tank role far better than that of support. In fact, I would go so far as to say he fills the role of fighter better than that of support.
