Give Viktor's Q the Skillshot treatment

While you're at it, increase the range of his W by another 100

Do you know how to play Viktor? Or were you on the receiving end of this?

Viktor is an extremely squishy champion who must get within very close range to use his Q. In addition, his Q isn't actually the thing dealing the majority of the damage. His auto-attack is. So they would need a sever overhaul of this for it to do anything.

Furthermore, Viktor is more about the E than the Q, with the Q build being a more Blue Ezreal kind of thing. So hitting it is like hitting Annie's W. ..... You could do it, but I don't see the justification.

Yes, I play Viktor and feel like it would be an alright change for him

Viktor is in a really confused place right now between his Q / Auto Attack, Get close gameplay and his E / W keep my distance gameplay.

Neither of which performs excessively well despite his completely broken numbers.

On the contrary, his "completely broken numbers" make him a very good team-fighter, since his range effectively lets you aoe nuke the enemy team with your E and R. At the same time, all you need to make your Q good in close range, outside of your normal build, is a single lich bane.

The only reason Viktor "doesn't perform well" is that like all squishy burst ap champs he can't really take a hit. But as soon as you get your first 1000 G, he has one of the best laning phases... ever. As soon as you get your perfect hex core and rabaddon's, he's a stupidly good threat. Late game, he should be able to do 2500+ damage to a single target in a couple of seconds.

:( The op's suggestion falls more under "why even bother" than anything else. Why would making his Q a skillshot really do anything?
