Buy Hextech Chests with IP?

Because I know you want to make money, but it is very difficult to get chests after the first 5-6. Why? Because if you main 5-6 champs, once you get S with them, you can't get another chest for the whole year. You can't get an S- on the other champs b/c you don't main them; you don't know how to play them super well. I have about 8 keys with no chests at the moment.

So can we buy chests with IP? Even if it's 6300 IP it would be worth it IMO. I think a fair price would be 2500 - 3000 IP.

Tbh that isn't the case for me at least. When i got S on my mains i started playing other chanpions till i got S with them as well. Yes it's harde bu the situation differs (I got my S with Ekko easily in Assencion, Ashe in Urf...etc) and others in normals.

I really think that the Hextech pushed the player out of familiar grounds and gives an opportunity to try out new playstyles.

I feel like if you spam pretty much any champ for a day, between you getting better on the champ and simple random chance of getting a stompy match, you can reliably get a chest as soon as they unlock. I've certainly managed it, and theres only maybe 3-5 champs I'm comfortable enough on to play in ranked.

Getting enough key fragments for 4 chests/month however is nearly impossible. The first 2 or 3 worth is fairly doable, but the 4th is improbable. What's more if you ever don't manage it for a month, you're forever going to be stuck playing catch up.
