If you don't like getting afks then perhaps online gaming really isn't for you, true they should check stuff before logging to play but there is no way to guarantee that people won't leave a game for whatever reason, legit or otherwise. Try to live with having afks in games.
Or stick with norms and chillax a bit, there is less afks there too, but more rage tho.

SEKAI1 votesOn OCE we don't get draft nor 3v3 (2 days per week however tho) nor dominion. I kinda forget what other modes are like lol.
But really what's the incentive of playing ranked? Climbing rank only gives you harder and more challenging games, in other words, the only real incentive to climb rank is to be challenged. Which imo 4v5 is a really nice way to challenge yourself if you're into that sort of thing.
Otherwise I say playing around your elo bracket should be fun already. You might cheap lose a few games for whatever reason, same thing can be said when you cheap win a couple of lp due to enemy's afk. It all eventually evens out.
Just enjoy the game.
Rathkos1 votesThe point of ranked challange is 5v5 not being on either end of a 4v5 thats a handicap. Thats idiotic to even think that. He has a right to be pissed but not toxic yes. But don't try to justify a 4v5 as anything othet then a failure of that missing player and Riot's failure do deal with leavers an afk'ers.

There will always be toxic behavior, but just as this guy is being punished for verbally venting (which I honestly believe that chat restrictions should be the go-to solution for such), there must be punishments and solutions meant to deal with actions that create unfavorable situations, especially when done in a potentially malicious manner.
I honestly think what Riot needs to do is have punishments fit the crimes, like chat restrictions being targeted directly at people who do nothing but abuse chat for toxic interactions. In the case of leavers/AFK'ers in ranked, they should be restricted from rank for that day.
