Remove mana from the game

Why do champions gated by mana costs and mana items have to fight vs champs that can spam infinitely and immediately buy high damage items that also give defense?

Not having mana when you were principally balanced around it does.

Just like having no resource is balanced when they are made with that intent.

#CONCLUSION

Nothing about having mana seems to actually increase EFFECTIVENESS against skilled opponents. These champions probably perform better in lower MMRs (where mana-using opponents aren't as skilled at managing mana), and do tend to be more popular than their actual in-game performance would attest to.

Imagine someone pushing minions toward you, letting you freeze in front of tower. If yasuo is using e all the time and you dont just freeze the wave in front of your tower. Get gud honestly. You can freeze it in front of your tower and then he can't dash because oh there's a tower there. Plus if you're playing a ranged champ then you,can hit him when he comes to farm.
