Dauntless Ahri... Now Champion?

Hello, this is my first time giving feedback on something so please bear with me! I've been so excited for the "Dauntless" Ahri skin, because to me it felt like even though she didn't "win" the championship, she was still trying, she didn't let her hopes be dashed, and she didn't give up. Dauntless, to me, was the perfect name for the skin, because she wouldn't let herself falter, even after a loss, she's not fearful of anything, and has confidence to keep trying. This is basically the definition of the word "Dauntless". Now though, Riot, you've changed it to Challenger Ahri, even after explaining to the community what "Dauntless" meant to you. My question is, "Why?" Ahri didn't win the "Championship", so why is she now called "Challenger" Ahri? It makes no sense to me and honestly it makes the skin less desireable. People are already not giving good feedback about the skin, saying it won't sell well, and I know that this name change is going to make it even harder to sell. Before it meant something, now it doesn't anymore. So I'm asking to get community agreement here, do you want the new Ahri skin to go back to meaning something (Dauntless Ahri) or just to have a name slapped on with no effort? (Challenger Ahri) Riot please give me some answer here, I'm kinda upset about this. I really loved the skin.

edit: I've also seen NUMEROUS people be confused over the name because they think it's only for players in the challenger tier won't be avaliable in the store for the rest of us. Not to mention the jokes people can make to Ahri players with this skin. As soon as an Ahri starts doing bad in the lower divisions you can be sure we're going to hear the taunts of, "Bronze Ahri" "Silver Ahri" "Why do you even have that skin if you're not Challenger?" It also leaves open the opportunity for people to call the Ahri player "Challenged Ahri" and given the most common insults I see in game are "retard(ed)" and "autistic" it only fuels the mental disorder insults which ARE NOT COOL OR FUNNY IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM. I'm going to say it again, Dauntless was a BEAUTIFUL name, and you can't really insult another player BECAUSE of the name "Dauntless". "Challenger"? Not to mention, everyone I talk to liked Dauntless more. Please Riot. Please. You said you read the comments on Surrender at 20 right? Well, if you do, please check the ones from the Dauntless Ahri change thread because the comments people made their expressed their displeasure on the change. Please change this skins name back. TL;DR Challenger Ahri makes no sense, and Dauntless Ahri really meant something, I would like to see the community's response to the change.
