New Runes System, ok alright sure.

New IP System, sure, why not?

Now I'm sorry if this comes off inappropriately, but as a player from Season 2, I'm very frustrated. Getting 100 IP(BE now I guess) for every 3rd Tier Rune and 300 IP(BE) for every 3rd Tier Quint unless you bought them this year? Not cool. (For those of you who aren't sure of the original value, a 3rd Tier rune would normally be around 200-400 IP, with 3rd Tier Quints normally being around 1050-2050 IP)

You said you were going to take care of players who have spent lots of IP on runes over the years, instead we're getting ripped off. This is not okay, you're refunding people who bought runes THIS YEAR COMPLETELY (Most of them are probably NEW players too), and ripping off the players who have been playing for literally EVERY. SEASON. BEFORE THAT.

I normally don't whine about this kind of stuff, but finding out that older, more dedicated players are getting ripped off with the new system while also being forced to accept it is not okay, ESPECIALLY because we were being told we were going to be taken care of. Very irresponsible of you as a company and I hope that you fix this before you roll it out.

I've gotten fair use of the runes I have purchased and don't really care at all if I get a refund at all.

You know why they're probably doing this? Because if you bought them 2 seasons ago, you got more play time with them. It's like selling a used product on amazon. You're still going to get money for it, but it's going to be for a much lower price than a brand new copy of the game.

I play on a variety of smurfs, so the IP refunding doesn't negatively impact me that much.

Though, it's fucking retarded how long-time players ONLY get IP, without ANY use for it, since most of them already own every champion. This is fucking unfair towards full-champ collection players.

So, you're saying you got absolutely zero value out of them since you bought them? This isn't a case where Riot gets any value out of forcing them to be returned, so equivalent exchange doesn't exactly apply here. They're not technically depreciating items, but you absolutely do get value out of having used them.

Then be happy you get anything for them! They didnt have to give you anything. They could have just said "sucks to be you!" They didnt. They said "even though you used them all the time since you bought them, we still give you sth. back"

And what do you do? You cry! "WHAAAAA, THE FREE STUFF YOU GIVE US IS NOT ENOUGH, I WANT MORE FREE STUFF!"

Right now Riot's main focus is leashing in a new playerbase; not holding on to the old. This means making the game more player friendly to learn and improving graphics and quality of life type things. Unfortunately, this also means that they are slowly starting to regard their older players less.

I'm not saying this is right, just stating facts.

if you have been playing since season 1 or 2 you should not need as much ip anymore as you have prob all the champs, i am not mad, i bought my runes before the season and i dont care getting little BE, at least i get enough to get prob 2 6300 champs
