The only counterplay is a long range knockback ,but not everyone has it.At least let it flash out of her ultimate.I mean it has a 5 min cd.And dont tell me this "position better" crap.She has like a 1k range gap closer with a stun....
The counterplay is to kill her... Autoattacks from marksmen, many target burst or AOE spells also lack counterplay. She will eat some nerfs soon. Expect the next new champions to be OP for some months and they will nerf him/her just like they will deal with Camille. Remember RITO is making money atm from Camille and her skins only because she is OP. I would have never got her, if she was underpowered.
Position better.
Camille's damage is weak outside of her TD burst (which admittedly is on a low CD) but she's a pushover. Which is why she has to build tank to sustain. Every time I lane against, I normally just trade with her, she has no chance but to back off after her passive goes down, then I faceroll all my abilities when she tried to retreat.
Camille players make the mistake of building 
first, which is easily punished by you rushing

In short, all I'm saying is, pick the right champs. I use champions who uses her ult to their advantage.

If you want counterplay to what's the equivalency to 's wall, 's ultimate, etc. with it also giving her a hp shredder but grants a MUCH larger area to move in, its called having a item purposely made to stall her damage or use a champion with an ability that can outright disrupt her damage burst.
is the standard togo for mages for these situations but for a AD, you can always pick up 
to use that pinch shield to do the same.
As for champions, i've literally middle fingered so many 
's by making use of 
's W which even at rank 1 is going to cut the damage she out puts on you in half(which once its capped, you can outright deny damage from any champion who can't disrupt channels with that delicious 70% dmg reduction), regardless of the and her Q's true damage. It also helps that alot of Camille's tend to be extremely 'stupid' on timing the R, such as using it right at the beginning when the target is not that low of health OR timing it when the opponent is near a wall because its best to have one to bounce to for her E, literally without the advantage of a wall to use E stun to disrupt something like a Master Yi's W channel, players can also end up missing a damage burst opp if they did not start with E stun and quickly into R to take advantage of the burst of attack speed so she can make full use of her R's on hit shred.
Granted she can use her R also to dodge out of a dangerous damage nuke being shot at her and disrupt a team fight, but alot of champions have similar abilities, just the typical matter the 'new and rework ones' got alot to them and Cammy might as well be the first in a while of a champion to basically have a kit as loaded up as Yasuo's right off the bat.
I would say some of the other recent ones got 'close' to a similarity but really it was 
who got that popularity sticker because of things like his ridiculous late game % bonus damage scaling and range abilities while having plenty of viability due to his WE combo trap shenigans for damage blasting afar.
