How often should a jungler take the kill from an ADC if they gank botlane?

I feel as if lately, my poor performances have been due to the fact that I'm just really far behind in gold. And when a jungler ganks and takes the kill, even though I could've easily finished it, most of the time I'm okay with it. But I feel that's such a gold deficit if they also take some minions. I'm nowhere near the best at farming, usually since the supports I face are good at zoning. I can freeze alright but I find difficulties trying to stay on par with their ADC, and it'd be much less pressure if I at least got some of the kills if a jungler ganks often.

That's probably just my mentality. But yeah. It's kinda tilting. Not being able to do anything, farm or kill.
