I'll admit when his rework first came out he was a little OP. However tweek after tweek have brought him in line with alot of other top tier ap's.

While he is a pain at times in reality he has relatively short range compared to other ap mages. His burst damage is far less then alot of mages. He can be countered with cleanse/qss as they both still remove his suppress.
