Soraka Cooldown Nerf

Why is Riot going to nerf the cooldown on the only ability Soraka is good for early game? Soraka compare to other champions does not have the ability to burst damage early levels like combos with Ashe/Braum Lucian/Leona Vayne/Morgana Ezreal/Taric Corki/Nami etc can do. Her Silence is on a 15 second cooldown and can be walked out of, her Q can be dodged and does not do high levels of damage when W is being maxed first.

If they nerf the only redeemable early game ability she has they give the upper hand to all of Soraka's counters already. Now instead of barely surviving an All in by a Leona and their ADC, she will not not be able to survive it at all.

Items such as Mortal Reminder, Executioners calling (provides 15 AD, while being cheaper than Vampiric Scepter or Dirk) exist, along with tons of damn CC, walking up to a Soraka is instant death for her if she doesn't have any one other than her ADC around her.

So quite frankly, what is this for? To force people into playing tanks? Allow Non-Mana AD champs to burst down everyone on the map?

These changes should not go through and are uncalled for if they aren't going to buff the base damage or AP ratio of her W.

Because her other abilities are not overperforming. Her heal is. The nerf isn't even strong enough. Should be flat 12 at all ranks.

Her W is performing as intended. Her other abilities are UNDER PERFORMING they barely do anything in lane This nerf FORCES people to max W and not even consider other playstyles. She barely has any CC in the first place so if she can't heal what can she do? nothing

Her Q and her E are definitely not underperforming. Early game, she can trade equally with any other poke support.

And I don't really need the cooldown reduction on W in lane, I always go Q first. The nerf is barely strong enough that I'd even consider going W.

Lmao, you clown. Her Q and E both do acceptable damage. The problem is in lane with Soraka, trading is literally pointless. She will endlessly out sustain poke and never even go oom doing it. Her W heals for more than many mages spells do in damage for less mana.

She either needs the healing amount nerfed (through severe cooldown restrictions) or an actual meaningful mana cost to it. I mean, her rank 5 cost is less than what some mages pay for a rank 1 spell. Combined with Soraka's mana regen being off the charts good, well, her sustain is pure bullshit.

Her Wish is strong, but that's her Ult so it's fine. Really it's just her W.
